- Remez (Orabkin), Moshe David
- (1886-1951)Israeli labour leader, of Russian origin. He settled in Turkey in 1911, and later in Palestine. He was active in the labour movement, serving as secretary-general of Histadrut (1926-36), chairman of the Vaad Leumi (1944-8), and a Mapai member of the Knesset. He served as minister of communications in 1948-50, and minister of education in 1950-1.
